One of the 8 "Little" Preludes & Fugues attributed to J. S. Bach. Many scholars feel that this collection may have been written by one of Bach's students, possibly Johann Tobias Krebs, because they are not idiomatic of traditional organ literature and specifically the organ works of J. S. Bach. However, they are often taught and played by organists . In this video, BWV 559 is played on the 33 rank/40 stop Reuter pipe organ located in the University Chapel at A. D. Bruce Religion Center on the main campus of the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. Please excuse the audio quality as my little Canon digital camera doesn't do justice to the true sound. I played on this organ during my college years approx 30 years ago. Trying to get back into playing after being "retired" for several years.
