​⚠️ Don't Throw Away Your Flood-Damaged Gadgets! 🖥️⚡ ​It has been nearly a day since Typhoon Basyang struck Iligan City, leaving many families affected. Here in my area, the aftermath is devastating. Most appliances—from refrigerators and smart TVs to speakers—were submerged in floodwater for nearly a month. They are covered in a mix of dried mud and stagnant, fresh floodwater. ​I am currently working on reviving an iMac 14.4. Although the unit was tossed around by the floodwaters inside the house and the screen glass is cracked, I didn't give up on it. ​The Good News: ​I applied a specific cleaning and restoration strategy, and I am happy to share that it was a success! Even though the screen panel itself might need replacement, the internal system is alive. ​To my friends and fellow victims: Please, do not throw away your flooded TVs or computers!
