Watch more and discuss: http://greenwich.itsrelevant.com/cont... Not many students can say they have been in the New York Times, but now 5 Greenwich High School students have that honor. Out of 4,500 submissions nationwide, two editorials submitted by the Cardinals ninth graders were included in the Top Ten winners of the New York Times Second Annual Student Editorial Contest with a third student receiving an Honorable Mention. Sarah Xu, GeorgeBrulaj, and Jean Zamora, collaborated on an editorial entitled "Why We Stayed Up Until Midnight Finishing This Editorial" making the New York Times Top Ten Editorial winners. Henry Shi, also a ninth grader, wrote an editorial entitled "Americans Should Defend Their Digital Privacy" which also made the Top Ten Editorials. Zilana Lee, ninth grader, received an honorable mention for "The Dark Underside of College Admissions". You can read with students editorials by visitinghttp://learning.blogs.nytimes.com/201...
