Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women Quinoa idli is a delicious Indian recipe served as a healthy breakfast. INGREDIENTS: Brown quinoa 1 cup Ghee 1 tsp Mustard seeds ¼ tsp Cumin seeds ¼ tsp Urad dal ½ tsp Cashew nut 6-8 nos Chana dal ½ tsp Ginger(chopped) ¼ tsp Curry leaves 1 spring Green chillies(chopped) ½ tsp Semolina 1 tbs Coconut(grated) 1 tsp Buttermilk 1 cup Water(as required) ¼ tsp Cooking soda `1/4 tsp Salt To taste METHOD: 1. Take a mixie jar, add brown quinoa and blend into coarsettt powder and keep aside. 2. Heat ghee in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, cashew nut, chana dal, ginger, curry leaves, green chillies and saute it. 3. Add brown quinoa, semolina and saute it for 2-3 mins and transfer into a bowl, allow it rest. 4. Add grated coconut, salt and mix it, add butter milk, little water and mix nicely and soak it for 15-20 mins. 5. Add cooking soda and mix nicely. Arrange the batter on greased idly mould. 6. Place it on the steamer and steam it for 10-15 mins. 7. Switch off flame and allow it rest and remove the idly into a serving plate. 8. Now the quinoa idli is ready to serve.
