Knitting, let's find the smallest needles and yarn. Quilting, whats the tiniest pieces I can stitch together. Art, let's see how little I can paint. Because of my fascination with all things miniature, I made this tiny watercolor sketchbook. But the next step was to figure out what I wanted to put in it. I knew I wanted to start with single colors to work on values so I decided to go through all the colors I had one by one. But then what was I going to paint? My anniversary was coming up, so I decided to fill the art journal with things my husband enjoyed and give it to him as a present. One thing my husband loves is computer games. So for this spread, I used Reeves phthalo Blue to make the logo to the game Rust. Rust is all about survival so when I found a song that gave the wild west feel, I knew I had to edit the video to it.
