Creeper Lagoon - Dear Deadly – San Francisco, Noise Pop Festival 2017, Sun. 2-27-17, Bottom of the Hill. Friends and Family dance party! First show after 16 years! Other Tidbits: The band’s core lineup of Sharky Laguana, Ian Sefchick, David Kostiner and Dan Carr reunited to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Noise Pop, a festival which the SF band also performed at during its early years. The band originally was scheduled to play just one show, but when that quickly sold out, they added a 2nd show, which sold out as well. Many of the band's family and friends were in attendance and they even brought them up on stage for a dance party for the final song 'Dear Deadly'. Many songs were performed for the first time live, such as the song that started it all, Tonight Was Fun, for which Sharky also told the humorous story behind it. :P After the show, they sold merchandise which had been in storage from their final tour in 2001. They said they actually lost the key and had to break the door down to retrieve the boxes. The band also gave everybody CL songbooks which has the lyrics and chords to all the songs they played during the show. They said they couldn’t guarantee the accuracy of the lyrics, though, lol. Everybody in the band also signed my poster, which was very nice. Ian's son actually noticed from afar that I missed out on getting his father's autograph, so he called him on the phone to come back down from the green room to meet me, which was extra nice! Ian joked that it was great that we were there for their only/last show, but supposedly anything is possible in the future.. Setlist: Early Show 1. Chance of a Lifetime 2. Claustrophobia 3.
