To understand its genesis, you must know the political and historical location of Moldova as a land. It is a region currently divided between 3 countries, inhabited by different nations. Csángo is a people living in the Moldavian region, which is part of Romania, and who speaks Hungarian. Hence the double title of the song - one in Romanian and the other in Hungarian. In translation it means "Way of the Devil". It is one of the most famous folk dances of the region and the most famous piece of Csángo culture. Nowadays it is danced by folk nad old dance groups all around the world. Contrary to popular belief, it probably does not come from the Middle Ages, although its true genesis is unknown. + + + O utworze: "Drumul Dracului", znany także na Węgrzech jako "Ördög útja", to taniec ludowy pochodzący z kultury mołdawskiego ludu Csángo. By zrozumieć jego genezę należy znać polityczne i historyczne położenie Mołdawii jako krainy historycznej. Jest to region podzielony obecnie między 3 kraje, zamieszkały przez różne narody. Csángo to lud żyjący w regionie Mołdawii będącej częścią Rumunii, a posługujący się językiem węgierskim. Stąd też podwójny tytuł utworu – jeden w języku rumuńskim, drugi w węgierskim. W tłumaczeniu znaczy on "Droga Diabła". Jest to jeden z najbardziej znanych tańców ludowych tego regionu i najbardziej znany utwór kultury Csángo. W czasach obecnych jest tańczony przez zespoły tańców dawnych i ludowych na całym świecie. Wbrew obiegowej opinii nie pochodzi on najprawdopodobniej ze średniowiecza, choć jego właściwa geneza jest nieznana.
