Black Gulaman Drink Recipe/How to make Black Gulaman Palamig/Samalamig @BestTasteFilipinoKitchen / besttastefilipinokitchen Ingredients Black Gulaman 1 pack of unflavored black jelly ( Mr. Gulaman) 3/4 cup white sugar 6 cups or 1 liter of water Syrup/Arnibal 1 cup brown sugar 3 cups water 1 tsp banana essence Procedure 1. Mix 6 cups or 1 liter of water with 1 pack of black unflavored jelly powder and 3/4 cup white sugar in a sauce pan while the stove is turned off. 2. Turn on the heat once the sugar and jelly powder are completely dissolved. 3. Constantly stir the mixture until it boils. 4. Turn off the heat once it boils. 5. Transfer to a moulder and let it cool. 6. Refrigerate for at least an hour. 7. In a sauce pan, mix 3 cups of water in with 1 cup brown sugar until completely dissolved. 8. Turn on the heat and let it boil. 9. Add 1 tsp banana essence and continue to stir. 10. Turn off the heat and let it cool. 11. Put ice cubes in each cup and add sugar syrup and black jelly on top. Note: The syrup recipe makes about 4 cups. Just double the recipe if you need to make more. The black jelly recipe is good for about 12 cups.
