Eastbourne June 1970, a POV Drive to Bexhill, and the Pier Theatre Fire of January 1970, F807

A super 8mm film showing the streets, beach, pier and scenes of Eastbourne in late June 1970. This cine footage was taken by a holiday maker staying at the Queens Hotel Eastbourne. The camera person who filmed this has been very thoughtful to show the whole town, not just the beach and pier. They also set up a camera in the car and drive of to Bexhill and back! Very interesting to see how things have changed on the journey, though the light was not as good for filming on that day (a bit blurry and dark). I was at Eastbourne recently, and did notice it looked very different, not least because it was December rather than flaming June! Music by Bensounds.com; Acoustic Breeze and Happiness
