Since it is Resurrection Weekend, here's a mix from a deceased station that I am bringing back to life. WRAP was one of the first all black radio stations in the United States, and was one of the first to have a radio show dedicated to rap music. I can remember H.J. Ellison and the Soul Ranger from back then. WRAP was sold and stopped broadcasting in 1989. This mix was made during a time when mixes were more freeform, and they didn't have much structure. DJs would just mix and scratch wherever they wanted. And also, the scratching techniques were still pretty basic. So if you have heard nothing like this, it will sound somewhat chaotic at times. Reminder that this is AM radio, so the quality will be lower. The mix sounds as though multiple DJs are involved, but only DJ Serious (not pictured above) is mentioned at the beginning.
