On February 12, 2026, the Iowa Food System Coalition (IFSC) convened partners from across the state for our Quarterly All-Partner Meeting in collaboration with the Regional Food Systems Working Group. As Iowa’s statewide, nonpartisan food systems network, IFSC brings together farmers, food businesses, public health leaders, advocates, and state agencies to align strategy and track policy shaping food and agriculture across Iowa. This meeting included updates on state and federal food policy, including Double Up Food Bucks, the Iowa Farm Act, SNAP and WIC proposals, immigration-related legislation, and Iowa’s participation in Summer EBT (SUN Bucks). Partners also shared progress across priority areas including food and farm infrastructure, land and resource access, local food procurement, environmental stewardship, labor equity, and food, nutrition, and health. Quarterly partner meetings strengthen coordination across Iowa’s local food systems and provide clarity around emerging policy, funding, and implementation challenges.
