River Mountain Loop Trail, Nevada

River Mountain Loop Trail is a 35 mile long paved cycling/walking/running spanning from Old Henderson, north to Lake Las Vegas, west to Lake Mead, and south to Boulder City. The scenes include desert mountains, water/electric plants, oases, canyons, and of course the blue gem colored Lake Mead. I like to describe it as "my favorite torture" as I am not a strong cyclist but I do it for the nice scenes and the relaxing and comforting feeling it gives me (as I clutch the brakes on the downhill turns and huff n puff on the up-hills). Normally I do the loop with minimal stops. However, today Brian and I decided to make a few stops and excursions to film some key areas around the loop. Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I do, and learn more about the area while at it! (ps. I got the word that Wheel of Misfortune is getting demolished later this year. So go check it out if you are interested and have not. It is across E Lake Mead Pkwy from Lake Las Vegas. I will post a video about it soon.)
