6 million NSW residents bracing for the worst in unprecedented fire conditions | ABC News

Around 6 million residents across eastern New South Wales are bracing for catastrophic bushfire conditions today, with strong winds, low humidity and high temperatures expected. Catastrophic fire danger warnings are in place across Greater Sydney, Greater Hunter, and the Illawarra and Shoalhaven region and around 600 schools and TAFE campuses are closed.
