Music/Song is Rascal Flatts "Why?" Talk to someone today 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline Free · Confidential · Hours: Available 24 hours / mindymccreadyinmemory It has now been a decade since Mindy left her two young sons and this world so it is time for something new w/respect to Mindy. Mindy's time on earth was short but Mindy left a lasting impact on many for years to come and must never be forgotten. Many to this day wish they could have intervened and prevented this trajedy from ever occuring but the past is the past and life moves on. Keep Mindy's two sons Zander (born March 2006) and Zane (born April 2012) in your prayers and thoughts. Many have commented on the tragic ending of Mindy's short life but in my personal opinion Mindy's fellow Country Artist/Song Writer Sherrie' Austin said it best back in 2013 upon learning of Mindy's passing: "I knew Mindy McCready fairly well, we came up in the ranks together, and always felt there was a girl more in need of hug then her. This is truly heartbreaking. I lost an uncle to suicide a few years ago and it always makes you wonder if there was something your could or should have done to help them...... Some people like Mindy are an open walking wound, but with others it is more subtle. I heard someone say once "Treat everyone you meet as if they are in pain....." The older I get the more I realize the only reason we are here is to love and be kind to each other.... so simple and yet we forget it every day....... God bless Mindy and My Uncle Pat, may your finally find the peace you could never find here... Sherrie' " http://sherrieaustinmusic.com/ / sherriemusic / sherri%c3%a9-austin • Sherrie Austin Only / sherrieaustinmusic Sherrie' was correct then and even far more so today as if more people would learn to love and be kind to each other as well as not make so many assumptions (treat everyone you meet as if they are in pain) about others the world would be far more peaceful as well as perhaps suicide rates would be going down and trajedies such as this would be far less??? Sherrie' - years before Mindy left us - reflected her comments on Mindy in a song of Sherrie's from years before: • Sherrie Austin The Wish 08_28_2019 "The Wish" A quote from Mindy herself that does somewhat describe her life: "I call my life a beautiful mess and organized chaos. It's just always been like that. My entire life things have been attracted to me and vice versa that turn into chaotic nightmares or I create the chaos myself. Mindy McCready" As with all of my videos - there is no copyright infringement intended or implied in anyway. This video was done for Mindy's fans; to help remember Mindy; & to celebrate her life. Please feel free to let us know if you liked or disliked this video and feel free to leave comments too. If you came here to be nothing but negative i.e. a "Karen" in today's world enjoy your short time doing so as I have zero tolerance and time for childish antics. I monitor my videos and will not hesitate to delete and block those that are only trying to stir up problems. Take Care, Marlinmr7 Lyrics You must've a been in a place so dark, couldn't feel the light Reachin' for you through that stormy cloud Now here we are gathered in our little home town This can't be the way you meant to draw a crowd Oh why, that's what I keep askin' Was there anything I could have said or done Oh I, had no clue you were masking a troubled soul, God only knows What went wrong, and why you'd leave the stage in the middle of a song Now in my mind I keep you frozen as a seventeen year old Roundin' third to score that winning run You always played with passion no matter what the game When you took the stage you shined just like the sun Oh why, that's what I keep askin' Was there anything I could have said or done Oh I, had no clue you were masking a troubled soul, God only knows What went wrong, and why you'd leave the stage in the middle of a song Yeah, yeah, yeah Now the oak trees are swayin' in the early autumn breeze The golden sun is shining on my face The tangled thoughts I hear a mockingbird sing This old world really ain't that bad a place Oh why there's no comprehending And who am I to try to judge or explain Oh, but I do have one burning question Who told you life wasn't worth the fight They were wrong They lied And now you're gone And we cried 'Cause It's not like you, to walk away in the middle of a song Your beautiful song Your absolutely beautiful song
