In ancient China, 12 zodiac animals were pick to represent 12 earthly branches, 12-year is a circle and all animals repeat. 2022 is a year of the tiger and the next tiger year will be 2034. Tiger in Chinese is hǔ虎,in this video I introduced a few Chinese idioms that contain the character hǔ, because we have a tradition of wishing people a good new year with idioms that contain the zodiac animal of that year.
