John Sacco is on the road again with two big destinations on his agenda – Jesup, Georgia and Washington, D.C. His first stop in Jesup gives you a firsthand look of Sierra’s manufacturing plant and introduces us to Chief Engineer Emory Olds and Head Technician Randy Hanson who have a combined 60+ years of experience in recycling manufacturing. After two days in Georgia, John packs up and heads out to Washington, D.C. to visit ISRI President Robin Wiener to discuss the major influence ISRI has on the recycling industry and the direction the organization is headed. After the third day, John lands home just in the nick of time to make it to his son’s basketball game, ending a very busy but informative three-day trip.
