This lathe part in the video (Sieg C1 Lathe in modification progress) are made of nodular cast iron that increases the useful life considerably compared to the others material in moving parts scrape fixed parts, lubricated obviously. I show in this video the work without flood coolant on dry drilling and thread milling operations too. This US mini mill machine "Sherline CNC model 2010" can do that work for us in practically on any other kind of materials. I love to work with metal in my home using a mini lathe and a mini mill. Once I'd decided to use all metal types I discovered that us can do practically anything with these small machines. Hole depth 8 mm.
