Nova Scotia is one of the Atlantic provinces and is also part of the Maritimes. Scott Ruhs has been a musician and songwriter for over 40 years. He is somewhat of a musical chameleon dabbling in many different genres including blues, rock, EDM, synthwave, hip hop, and country. He is a veteran guitar player with many different influences such as Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Ace Frehley from Kiss, Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, Buddy Guy, Chet Atkins, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban. Some his favourite artists include Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Ozzy Osbourne, Kiss, Van Halen, The Beatles, The Eagles. Scott's primary instrument is electric guitar, but he dabbles in other instruments such as bass guitar, keyboards, guitar synth, and most recently mandolin. He loves mixing different genres blending organic instruments with loop and samples for a unique musical experience. His musical mantra and goal is to take the listener on a musical journey one song at a time.
