Missabe (DMIR) & BNSF Action on the Iron Range & Twin Ports The first part of this video was shot on October 13th, 2007 in Proctor and Duluth. Here we see the Proctor Road Switch departing Proctor for the ore docks in Duluth with taconite. Power is DMIR 200, BLE 869 and DMIR 303. Then later we the same power set bringing cars down to be filled with limestone for Minorca. The second half of the video was all shot on April 19th, 2008. We start out in Mountain Iron where we see DMIR 308 and DMIR 213 on the Keenan Switch, switching cars. Also featured is a BNSF Tex-Mex train heading to the Utac plant to be loaded with taconite with BNSF 6940 and BNSF 4847. T-bird with DMIR 316 and DMIR 201. BNSF All-Rail with BNSF 1077, BNSF 4158 and BNSF 754. Control of the railway was acquired on May 10, 2004, by the Canadian National Railway (CN) when it purchased the assets of Great Lakes Transportation.
