Story Summary :- The narrator is an entrepreneur in the tech industry who recently sold his startup for a very large sum. Having been very passionate about the field even before starting his own company, he decides to go back to his previous employer and purchase the company outright. He had left the old company due to an increasingly hostile environment created by a coworker, Bradley. Upon returning to the old company for buyout discussions with the board, the narrator has a few run-ins with Bradley, who assumes that his company went under and he’s back to ask for his old job. The narrator plays along with this until Bradley goes to HR to try to sabotage him. The narrator is informed of Bradley’s actions by another ex-coworker and decides to finally take revenge for how Bradley has mistreated him.
