The retail price is $140.00 U.S. dollars. They are a neutral road shoe that I ordered true to size. They weight 10.2oz for a men's size 9 on my scales or 290g. The adidas Adizero Boston 10 was designed as a training companion to the Adizero Adios Pro. They perform best for me on up tempo or faster daily workouts and did not feel as natural at a slow paced easy workout. They feature a mesh upper that has two layers. A cloth material with a more plastic outter shell. Although it is made of two layers of material I still found them to be breathable and comfortable to run in. The eyelet chain is a classic style that features a suede or felt material around the toe box that adds durability and gives them a "Retro" look. It does well to keep you locked-in and secure. adidas did include the additional eyelet so you can run with a runners knot. The tongue fully gusseted on the medial side and has a semi gusset on the lateral side. It is thin with a pocket of padding near the top. The collar and tab are well padded with a slight achilles heel notch on the tab that is very comfortable. The heel counter has plenty of structure and features triangle shaped plastic overlays that adds a little stability as well as durability. The midsole features a ton of midsole foam. They have a 39mm stack height in the heel and 31mm in the forefoot for an 8mm offset. There are two different types of foam in the midsole. The top layer is their Lightstrike Pro foam that is soft, highly cushioned, and responsive. The bottom layer is their Lightstrike foam that is much more dense. The newly designed midsole also includes a carbon fiber plate in the heel and energy rods in the forefoot. The majority of the benefit from the Lightstike Pro foam is felt in the forefoot as they included more of it in this section. They have a somewhat stiff feeling and seem to perform best at faster paces. The outsole has a ton of Continental rubber that adds durability and a good amount of grip and traction. Overall I think adidas did exactly what they set out to do. They designed a daily trainer that mimics the adidas Adizero Adios Pro and makes a great training companion for that shoe. If you are a fan of the Adizerio Adios Pro than I think you will like the newly designed Boston 10. Or, if you are looking for an up tempo daily trainer that rides like a "race day" shoe, than the Boston 10 might be the right shoe for you. Thank you for watching and have a great day.
