I tested the page using Google Chrome for LInux, (4.0.249.43), Iceweasel version 3.06, and Opera for Linux version 10.10. Chrome for Linux handled the page well. The floating divs and other css, javascript, and html5 features all rendered. Iceweasel choked almost immediately. Opera for Linux loaded the page but l the floating divs did not render. All in all, the test was both fair and unfair. The author of the betanews article picked a website he knew would present problems and it did. On the contrary, it was fair.
