#TheGlobalist #CitizenErased #Muse Matt Bellamy was quoted as saying The Globalist would be the sequel to Citizen Erased from their album 'Origins of Symmetry', this was said early on in the recording process of 'Drones', so once everybody had heard The Globalist in full, a lot of people complained that it didn't feel like a direct sequel to Citizen Erased and I guess the majority of die-hard fans had likely hyped up that general quote by Matt too much. In the context of the album's story and concept, the song is brilliant, but the middle is so damn intense, I really wanted to hear it extended. Being a die-hard Muse fan myself, I came up with the idea to merge the two songs together, but rather than just edit the original recordings, I wanted to do a full instrumental piece that flowed together and this was the result of that idea. I had a lot of fun making this and I hope you enjoy listening to it!
