It has been 6 months since my last recording for the NieR series. I sight-read 'Kainé' before I departed to Taiwan for my short break, and the melody has been swirling in my mind since then. I guess this is the kind of piece that will easily ring a bell once you have listened to it. If you are interested, do check out the original performance:    • カイネ/救済   As I find the tempo indicated on the original score a little bit too slow to my liking, I'm playing it base on my perception of the work, and how I perceive it after playing the game. This time, I spent quite a while experimenting with different recording settings and mixing. I would say it is always better to listen with headphone, if possible. You may have a broader feeling as I tried panning the left and right mono tracks to the maximum for the first time. Do let me know if you prefer this setting! Speaking of which, doing a recording has never been so challenging as there's ongoing construction work near the studio during the daytime, so I was only left with nighttime before 10pm (before my neighbors lodge a complaint). And this condition will probably persist for another few months...
