After the lesson we are going to head outside to create our own rock of Bethel to remind us, just like Jacob did, of his dream and how God is with us wherever we go! Supplies: [ ] Empty container [ ] Optional figurine to act as Jacob in the desert. Directions: [ ] Grab your empty container and head outside. [ ] Grab dirt, sand, sticks, flowers and a special rock for your place of Bethel Relation of our lives to the Bible story: In today’s story, we learned how even when we make mistakes and feel alone that God it with us. Questions to discuss: -Do you think Jacob felt sad when he was alone in the desert? -Have you felt sad about a decision you’ve made before? -If you don’t have your rock of Bethel with you, how can you be sure to remember that God is with you?
