Going deeper into the Holy Spirit is more than just experiencing God's power in a miraculous way. It is your spirit coming alive in Him. His resurrection power resurrects your spirit so that you become a heavenly being in flesh; a citizen of Heaven, seated in the heavenly places, living and moving and having your being in Him. Where you walk by faith and not by sight. The river of God is very deep. How deep do you want to go? In Ezekiel 47:3, he measured the river; 1000 cubits,1000 cubits &1000 cubits. From ankle deep, to knee deep, to waist deep, to a river so deep that you have to swim. Jesus wants to baptize us, to drench us in the Holy Spirit. How far have you journeyed in the Holy Spirit? There is so much for us. Have you any idea how immense and deep the river of God is? We must ask for the Holy Spirit. There’s a promise to be baptized in the Holy Spirit to be empowered and there's a promise to be baptized in fire to consecrate and cleanse you. Jesus instructed His disciples to wait in Jerusalem in Act 1: 8, until they received power from on high. It is so important as Christians to be filled with the Holy Spirit. They were filled with the Holy Spirit in Acts 2 and they continued to be filled with the Holy spirit and Fire. Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit in Luke 4:1, then He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Afterwards He came out in the power of the Holy Spirit. God has never intended for the church to be powerless in ministry and have religion without the Holy Spirit. When Paul was knocked off his horse, blinded, had a vision of Jesus and was born again; Jesus told Ananias to pray for Paul to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We all need the Holy Spirit. Stir yourself up to take hold of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit, to press in. The early church continued in supplication with heartfelt prayer and great things happened. Great things happen when people pray from the heart and not just the lips. When you are going through hard things you need the Holy Spirit. When the church was persecuted in Acts 4, they came together and prayed fervently and the place where they were praying shook with the power of the Holy spirit. In Acts 13:52, they were filled with the Holy spirit and with joy. We need more, there is always more. When was the last time you were drunk with joy in the Holy Spirit? To be baptized in the Holy Spirit means to be drenched in the Holy Spirit. As you go deeper in the Lord his fire will burn the chaff out of you. The way gets narrower and narrower, He keeps burning in you and the glory gets greater and greater. You become sanctified fire burning Christians not carnal ones. Jesus said, ‘You are in the world but not of the world’. You are filled with the Holy Spirit and transported into the realm of the Kingdom of Heaven. The Holy Spirit is our Helper. You have to humble yourself to recognize you need a Helper. This is a place of total humility and surrender. In the healing & deliverance ministry you can’t do it. The Holy Spirit does it. He brings healing & deliverance & every kind of blessing. The Holy Spirit comes in love. He will always do things that blow your mind. God's Love is not empathy; it is His power at work to save, heal and set free. In Romans 5:5, ‘hope does not disappoint because God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.’ The Holy Spirit is love at work. Jesus was moved by supernatural compassion. Always know that Jesus loves you, whether you are sick or not. He loves you. Truly lives are changed by an encounter with Jesus. Ask Him, ‘Lord, I earnestly desire the spiritual gifts.’ There are different ministries but the same Holy Spirit. There are diversities of activities but the same Lord. (1 Corinthians 12). The Holy Spirit comes in different ways. Don't judge others. When the Holy Spirit manifests, He does it through gifts. When you are going deeper into the Holy Spirit you can expect His gifts to flow and change lives.
