On August 28, 2021, the Cedar Key Historical Society Museum in Cedar Key, Florida, unveiled a new exhibit, African American History in the Cedar Keys. This video is part one of the highlights from the event filled with sharing old family stories, learning about history, and enjoying entertainment and each other. This event's great interest was for members and invited guests only, filled two buildings! Made possible through a grant from the Florida Humanities Council, volunteer research, design, and installation.
