This is a video where it is a prank & I modified slot-2 of the original Nintendo DS which can let GB/GBC cartridges fit in there perfectly & act like you’re playing them on there but really using a flash cartridge such as an R4 flash cartridge used in the video to run GB/GBC games through emulation & not really playing them physically on there! The original DS, like the Game Boy Micro, & the DS Lite do not feature backwards compatibility for GB/GBC games physically due to the required hardware, which would be the Z80 procedure, is absent for the console. Also, the GBA SP is the final system made by Nintendo & the entire Game Boy family that features support for GB & GBC games.
