Senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao attempted to board an RTC bus at Mehdipatnam Bus Stop as part of the party’s protest against the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) fare hike. The protest, dubbed “Chalo Bus Bhavan,” aimed to submit a memorandum demanding a rollback of the increased fares.
