Do not force—if it resists, the latch is closed or the cable is misaligned. 4:58 — Reassembly: With each ZIF latch open, insert the ribbon fully/straight, then close the latch to secure. Do not force. 5:27 — Power-on after reassembly: Plug the ROG Ally into the charger first. After a full disconnect, the PMIC may block battery-only boot.
