Hi, thanks for watching. Supplies: 20 Jumbo Popsicle/Craft Sticks (6” x 3/4”) 10 Regular Popsicle/Craft Sticks (4 1/2” x 3/8”) Wood Glue Pencil Scissors Ruler Sand Paper Paint Paintbrush Tip: When cutting craft sticks, I found it helpful to hold & put pressure on the side you want to keep. This helped my craft sticks from splitting. Cut 12 jumbo craft sticks to be 5 inches (getting rid of the ends). Cut the other 8 jumbo craft sticks & 8 regular craft sticks to be 3 3/4 inches. Lay out 4 jumbo sticks with 1/4 inch gaps between them. Glue 2 regular sticks going across the ends. Do this to another set of sticks. For the sides, leave a little space at the ends (the thickness of 2 craft sticks) before gluing the 2 regular craft sticks. Glue the 4 sides together. Glue the 4 jumbo sticks to the bottom of the crate. I cut 2 regular craft sticks to fit the bottom. Then, glued them. Sand any rough edges. Paint it (or stain it) & you’re done. If you leave the little spaces at ends of the 5” craft sticks instead of the 3 3/4” craft sticks, then you’ll only need 8 regular craft sticks. The jumbo craft sticks at the bottom will be long enough to reach the ends, without adding the extra 2 regular craft sticks. __________ instagram: @itscreatewithjenn / itscreatewithjenn
