Paragliding Ettrick Valley 8th March 2025

Paragliding Ettrick Valley, Scottish Borders. A lovely mellow evening flight on the Lower Swire ridge between Ettrick and Yarrow valleys. When I arrived all my fellow Wingbeat pilots had left so I had the hill to myself. The air was smooth and non-thermic so with no-one else in the air it felt safe to get the camera out. Hope you enjoy it! Paraglider: Gin Atlas X Alps Camera: DJI Action 2 Microphone: Hollyland Lark wireless hooked up to a Tascam DR-10L recorder This was my first attempt to prove the equipment for a bigger project that I have in mind, once I've built up a few more flying hours. The sound could have been better as I don't think I had the wireless mic correctly positioned. Next time I'll try the wired lav mic that came with the Tascam once I get a wind shield for it. At least I won't have to worry about it becoming unclipped and falling to oblivion. I love the Lark setup though. I won it in a draw from HarvAudio - and excellent YouTube resource. Thanks Harv!
