Was Iran's president Masoud Pezeshkian targeted in the U.S. and Israeli strikes on the Iranian soil on Saturday? After unconfirmed reports emerged following the strikes, the Iranian media tried to put speculations around the president's fate to rest. The state-run agency IRNA said that Pezeshkian was "safe and sound". Last year, the Iranian media had claimed that Pezeshkian suffered minor injuries after the Israeli military struck a building on June 16 last year. Pezeshkian was attending a meeting of Iran's supreme national security council when a missile reportedly hit the building in the Shahrak-e-Gharb area of Western Tehran. #masoudpezeshkian #iranpresident #israelattacksiran #israeliranconflict #usattacksiran #donaldtrump #benjaminnetanyahu Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
