Quick Tip! SP-808: Pad to Track - A very cool way to play live

#SP808 #Roland The Roland SP-808 is equipped with an internal sequencer but this unit is also very cool to do live shows. The Track to Pad-function gives you the possibility to do this. Press Shift + Song/Track to activate this function. The Pads are divided in columns and the Volume Sliders are working for every separate column. Volume Slider A is for Sample Pads 1, 5, 9, 13 Volume Slider B is for Sample Pads 2, 6, 10, 14 Volume Slider C is for Sample Pads 3, 7, 11, 15 Volume Slider D is for Sample Pads 4, 8, 12, 16 The maximum of playable samples at once is 4, 1 of each column. Every column has an automatic Group Mute. This means that you can't play two samples in the same column. The Effects are applicable to every Volume Sliders.
