But apart from the selection of fresh fruit and fish, the market is famous for one thing in particular – the train that goes straight through. In 1905, Thailand railway market built a railway line through the popular market center. But instead of relocating, the traders adjusted to the new conditions and worked around the trains, which ran eight times a day, seven days a week.
