New Humanism in the Time of Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence (NHNAI): a Research-Action Project NHNAI is a research action project coordinated by Lyon Catholic University (UCLy) under the aegis of the International Federation of Catholic Universities. With a consortium of thirteen partners on five continents, NHNAI aims to harness the resources of partner institutions to strengthen the ethical orientation of all stakeholders, through collective exploration of what it means to be human in the age of AI and neuroscience. During this lecture, I’ll outline the project’s main philosophical orientations, as well as its organizational modalities, and I’ll propose an overview of its results. Speaker: Mathieu Guillermin, Lyon Catholic University, France Moderator: Viola Schiaffonati, Politecnico di Milano, Italy The Digital Humanism Lecture Series is organized by the Faculty of Informatics of TU Wien and TU Wien's Center for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (CAIML). This project has received funding from the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme under Grant Agreement No. 101123121 (EURIDICE).
