Luke 15:8-10 "suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn't she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin. In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." Have you recently lost something? Think about how excited you get when you find the items that you thought were as good as lost. If we feel this way over finding material possessions, reflect on the incredible joy that our Father has when those who are lost find Jesus as their source of hope. Jesus teaches us that there is rejoicing in Heaven over one person who repents and turns their life to him!
