This kit comes with new 3rd, 4th, & 5th gears, circlips, and collar to update your transmission to a wide ratio setup. The new YZ250X uses the same 1st and 2nd gear as the regular YZ250. 3rd gear is actually a little bit shorter on the "X" models giving you a very useable 3rd, but 4th and 5th gears are both taller giving you a higher max speed and the advantage out in the desert or on higher speed courses.
