A City Drive recorded in Barcelona, Spain in August 2020 featuring La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter (Barrio Gótico), the Basílica de la Sagrada Família (Basílica de la Sagrada Familia), Plaça d'Espanya, El Raval, the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona (Universitat de Barcelona), Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes. Immerse into this magical ambience with the Minister of Ambience. We are driving in Barcelona in late August 2020. This city is famous for its beautiful architecture, being home to one of the best football teams in the world, startling city beaches, and magnificent viewpoints. It is surely an excellent place to visit no matter if you are here for loud parties and fun, sightseeing, laying by the sea, or seeking relaxation and calm ambience. We begin our trip at La Rambla and from here drive through a series of narrow streets in El Raval, a historical neighborhood in the center of Barcelona infamous for its nightlife and cabarets. As we leave El Raval, we turn onto Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, the longest street in Catalonia and Barcelona, and the 2nd longest in Spain. The University of Barcelona can be seen on the left as we enter the street. Our next turn is to the north onto Carrer de Roger de Llúria, which is a typical in design and size street in Barcelona, a mid-size one-way street. Most people would probably imagine driving Carrer de Roger de Llúria and Carrer del Rosselló, which is our next destination, when thinking of a drive in Barcelona. Once we turn onto Carrer de Mallorca, La Sagrada Família can be seen shortly on the right. This is by far the most notorious place of interest in Barcelona, if not in the whole of Spain. Contraction started on March 19, 1882 - roughly 139 years ago as of publishing this video, and... is yet to be completed. The next street we visit is Carrer d'Aragó, a major thoroughfare in Barcelona, one of the widest and busiest roads in the city. From here we turn left onto Carrer de Tarragona and then enter Plaça d'Espanya, where we make our final change of course. Plaça d'Espanya is yet another famous sightseeing spot in Barcelona.
