SCAAN (Security Communications and Analysis Network) provides real-time security advisories and allows staff to send instant alerts from the field. It is also used to conduct rapid headcounts and assist staff during an emergency. By enhancing the security of humanitarian actors on the ground, SCAAN is enabling a continued and effective response to the needs of vulnerable people in Afghanistan.
