For some reason, possibly a burnt out bulb, was causing the "WB Track" light to always indicate an approaching train. In fact, this is the prime reason the lights always stay ON, because if a light burns out, it acts as a safety net. The signal is tied to the track circuit, therefore it shorts when the approaching train shunts the circuit. 21:35 - 24J - NS System Baretable NS ES44DC 7615 NS SD60M 6757 Just after 24J clears, I34 rounds the bend with another ex-UP SD90MAC leader, still activating the crossing signal. 23:40 - I34 _ Chicago, IL - Norfolk, VA NS SD9043MAC 7314 NS ES44DC 7683 Thanks for Watching!!!
