SUFFOLK PUFFS AND YO YOs | How To Make Round And Square Suffolk Puffs | Didsbury Art Studio In this Part 1 video I wanted to share how I teach and organise a textiles technique to students at my Didsbury Art Studio classes. I share creating round, square, rectangular SUFFOLK PUFFS what materials lend themselves well to this technique, using different sizes, layers and stuffing... It's a technique which was traditionally used for patchwork but these circular rosettes can be so unique in themselves that you can work with them in a more contemporary decorative way. After doing my Textiles degree I did my PGCE teacher training at Goldsmiths, University of London to become an Art and Design Secondary School Teacher. Currently, I work in a hospital teaching art part-time to mainly 16 -18 year olds. In addition, I teach art in my studio on Saturdays and I give textile workshops to schools.
