Is this long ammo bolt-action rifle a hidden gem or just another mid-tier option? In this video, I put all three Berthier variants to the test: Berthier Iron Sight – A solid all-rounder. Berthier Deadeye – A unique option for mid-range combat. Berthier Marksman – A great long-range alternative to the Lebel Marksman. The Berthier features a 3-round stripper clip reload, meaning partial reloads waste bullets unless you have the Bullet Grubber trait. It fires long ammo, dealing 130 damage with 120 meters drop range and a high velocity of 590 m/s. For ammo types, the Berthier can run: ✔ Spitzer Ammo – Boosts bullet speed to 780 m/s and 140m drop range for near hit-scan accuracy. ✔ Incendiary Ammo – Sets hunters on fire up to 40m but does not penetrate surfaces. ✔ Dual Ammo Loadout – Running regular + special ammo improves ammo sustainability.
