LNN number 12 now. If you saw my final B LNNFS video's description, you could see that i REALLY hated that grind. In fact, it is the only grind i've ever done in touhou that i actively disliked. However, most of it came from Marisa and Kaguya being really annoying, with the rest of the game being pure tedium to do repeatedly. This time, i decided to give the game another shot by going through final A (that i always loved much more than final B) and fighting Reimu instead of Marisa. The problems i have with the early game (stg 1-3) are still there, but stage 4 and 6 are much more fun. stage 1-3 aren't that much different. Routing is a little bit more complicated compared to border due to needing to know where to place Remilia's options, but i still hardly died to them at all after getting the hang of them in runs. Reimu is more RNG-reliant than Marisa overall, but she is MUCH more fun. It gives a break on the fully static nature of the last few stages and means i have to actually lock in. Even then, her RNG doesn't tend to do weird walls like Marisa's non 3. Second spell can be really hard with bad RNG, but it was very mild in this run. I did fantasy seal marred in a weird way, though the route still worked. In the end, blink is the hardest thing here. Usually it's not horrible, but depending on where Reimu stops, she can make some very nasty walls that close off on part of the screen. I went through a very bad direction in the first wave, but thankfully i survived. The rest of the waves were pretty chill. stage 5 is the same thing as always, very free. stage 6A is the best and coolest stage in the game. 6B is easily my least favorite stage in touhou, but 6A is very nice. Eirin isn't a complete pushover, but she doesn't have actual unfair attacks like Kaguya has. I am very consistent in most of her attacks. I've lost runs to Rising Game (2x), third non, Apollo 13 (2x) and Hourai Elixir. I thought i would lose more runs to HE, but fortunately i only lost one pace to it. I did the first 2 attacks kinda clumsily due to being a bit nervous, but after that i managed to calm down a bit and did the rest just fine. Rising Game was fine, i did some bad option placements on non 3, but the pattern itself threw good RNG, did a weird move in Omoikane, got good overlaps in Apollo 13 and got a very chill Hourai Elixir. Anyway, now i'm completely done with IN. This route is much more fun than Final B, but i think the early game still bogs the game down a good bit. Still the grind was still pretty chill and i had a nice time, so i guess IN has been redeemed. Next up is TD Sanae LNNNFS. Shouldn't be too bad either. I'll get it since it's the second to last Sanae LNN i need. After getting that, i'll go for EoSD.
