In this video I visit Asylum Skatepark, which is a huge indoor skatepark located in Sutton-in-Ashfield, roughyl an hours drive away from my Works head office which is rather handy! Because I set myself a goal to do a backflip this year, I ventured onto facebook marketplace and found a cheap jump bike to help me on the road to backflip a bike! Having already conquered a backflip at Ard Rock 2024, I wanted to send it into a foam pit before taking it to the Resi jump... but sadly for me, I landed clean ontop of my bike when trying a tuck no hander and it completely knocked my confidence for the day... With that being said, we still had a mega Friday evening, well spent in this skatepark with its sick features which cater to all who are willing to push themselves and take on what this skatepark has to offer! The park is designed to offer a mix of street and park-style elements, including ramps, quarter pipes, boxes, rails, and ledges, making it an ideal spot for both beginners and advanced riders. Personally I was here just for the foam pit, but the rest of the skatepark was also sick, and I am planning a trip back there ASAP to LAND THAT BACKFLIP!!!
