【 Ys: The Oath in Felghana 】 Opening

Playlist:    • Ys III: The Oath in Felghana   Adol Christin and his traveling companion Dogi are visiting Dogi's hometown of Redmont when they come across a fortune-teller who warns them of dangers surrounding Felghana (the region Redmont is in). Of course this doesn't deter the travelers as they unknowingly continue into another adventure. Easily one of, if not THE best title in the series, Oath in Felghana takes the formula that is seen in Ys VI and builds up on it exponentially (and coincidentally their scenarios are intertwined quite nicely). Being a remake of what was at one point the Black Sheep of the series, Oath in Felghana really shines in every aspect. In retrospect, I believe it's the best starting point for anyone getting into the series... unless you believe in saving the best for last, that is. Chronologically this takes place after Ys IV and before Ys V, though that can and may change with the release of "Ys IV: Celceta, Sea of Trees", Falcom's definitive and exclusive version of Ys IV, in 2012.
