Subscribe for more videos: https://goo.gl/wNqDQB RECIPE: COFFEE BBQ SAUCE 1 Tbsp. olive oil (15 ml) 1 Vidalia or Spanish onion, finely diced ½ cup ketchup (125 ml) 1/4 cup brown sugar (50 ml) 1/4 cup cider vinegar (50 ml) 1 chipotle chile , rehydrated – or to taste – remove seeds and ribs for less heat 2 garlic cloves, crushed 2 tbsp. molasses (25 ml) 2 tsp. prepared mustard (10 ml) 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce (25 ml) Salt to taste 1/2 cup brewed espresso (125 ml)- 4 shots Method: In a saucepan, heat oil and sweat onions until translucent , about 4-5 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients, except espresso and bring to a boil and reduce to low heat. Simmer covered for 30-40 minutes , until bubbly and thickened and flavour has developed. Adjust with water if necessary. Transfer to blender and pulse until completely smooth. Add the espresso , pulse and adjust seasoning. Transfer to clean mason jar and cool down.
