Welcome back to Part 3 of my stained glass illusion art series! In this project, I’m working with pine boards again—but this time, I’m taking it a step further by adding depth and creating a 2.5D effect. Instead of keeping the surface flat, I experimented with layering, and shaping to give the stained glass illusion more dimension. The result is a wall art piece that doesn’t just look like stained glass—it has depth, shadows, and textures that make it come alive. In this video, I’ll walk you through how I prepared the pine boards, designed the layered effect, and used my CO₂ laser to bring everything together. Each piece was stained, fitted, and finished to enhance the illusion of depth. If you’ve been following along from Part 1 and Part 2, you’ll see how the series keeps evolving. And if this is your first time here—welcome to Dusty Workbench Art, where I explore new ways of turning wood into art. #StainedGlassIllusion #LaserArt #WoodworkingArt #DustyWorkbenchart
