Truth: The Word produces healing, growth, and transformation. B. Through the Holy Spirit John 14:16–17, 26 The Holy Spirit is: A Person, not a force The Comforter The Helper The Spirit of Truth Roles of the Holy Spirit: Abides with us Dwells in us Teaches us Reminds us of Jesus’ words Encouragement: You are never alone. 9. God Molds Us Through Trials 1 Peter 4:12–13 Trials are not strange. Suffering refines us. Purpose of affliction: To reveal God’s glory To prepare us for higher calling Prayer of surrender: “Lord, take me, break me, make me, and mold me.” 10.
