Raise your hands and shout Hallelujah! 🙌 Be blessed as you watch this powerful and Spirit-filled message centered on drawing closer to Jesus Christ and living a joyful, obedient Christian life. 1. Introduction: A Call to Rejoice & Draw Near Open with praise: “Raise your hand and shout Hallelujah!” Greeting the church, pastors, and congregation. Acknowledge God’s leading and the joy of worship together. Emphasis from worship: Desiring God’s presence above everything else More than answers, miracles, or fulfilled promises — we need Him Key desire: “Lord, I need Your presence. Help me walk closely with You.” Romans reminder: Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. 2. The Church’s Mission: Shining Through Outreach Appreciation for outreach ministries and young people. Festivals = opportunity to present the Gospel. Encouragement: Even if one life is touched, it matters. Truth: Only the love of Jesus can transform society Prayer: “Lord, let Your name be glorified through us.” 3. Main Scripture Reading Philippians 2:12–16 “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling…” God works in us: To will To do For His good pleasure Live without murmuring or disputing. Shine as lights in a dark and crooked world. Hold fast to the Word of Life. 4. Rejoicing Even in Suffering Background of Philippians: Paul writing from prison (affliction and suffering). Yet the message is joy in Christ. Reality: Many believers grow weak during suffering. God’s desire: That we rejoice even in adversity. Biblical truth: Rejoicing is not based on circumstances. Praise in all situations is God’s will. Key declaration: “Jesus is in control; nothing happens without His knowledge.” 5. Obedience Beyond the Presence of Leaders Philippians 2:12 (key emphasis): Obedience not only when leaders are present. Warning: Don’t be dependent on people for spirituality. Importance of fellowship: Church strengthens us. Corporate worship enriches us. Challenge: Don’t be a “Sunday-only Christian.” Call: Walk with Jesus every day, every hour. 6. Walking Before God – Genesis 17:1 “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.” God revealed Himself to Abraham after 13 years of silence. Reason for silence: Abraham tried to work things out on his own. Moment of surrender: God says, “Now I take over.” Revelation of God: El Shaddai – Almighty God. Application: God takes over when we fully surrender. Meaning of “walk before Me”: Live consciously in God’s presence Walk wholeheartedly, not perfectly. God knows us completely. Invitation: “Are you willing to turn over a new leaf?” 7. Understanding Salvation: Past, Present & Future Past Salvation – Saved 2 Timothy 1:9 Present Salvation – Being saved Hebrews 7:25 Future Salvation – Will be saved Hebrews 9:28 Truth: We live in a sinful body. Therefore: We must work out our salvation daily Clarification: Salvation is by grace (Ephesians 2:8–9) Working out salvation = living it out daily. 8. How God Works in Us A. Through the Word of God 1 Thessalonians 2:13 Three key responses: Hear the Word carefully Receive it as God’s Word Believe it so it works effectively Warning: The enemy distracts us from hearing God’s Word. Truth: The Word produces healing, growth, and transformation. B. Through the Holy Spirit John 14:16–17, 26 The Holy Spirit is: A Person, not a force The Comforter The Helper The Spirit of Truth Roles of the Holy Spirit: Abides with us Dwells in us Teaches us Reminds us of Jesus’ words Encouragement: You are never alone. 9. God Molds Us Through Trials 1 Peter 4:12–13 Trials are not strange. Suffering refines us. Purpose of affliction: To reveal God’s glory To prepare us for higher calling Prayer of surrender: “Lord, take me, break me, make me, and mold me.” 10. Living Without Complaining Philippians 2:14 Instruction: Do all things without murmuring and grumbling. Reason: We live in a dark world. God wants us to shine as lights. Goal: To become Christ-like. 11. Conclusion & Call to Response Paul’s joy: Seeing believers live out God’s Word. Invitation: Submit to God’s Word. Surrender fully to the Holy Spirit. Corporate prayer: “Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on me.” Final blessing: That believers shine in darkness That lives glorify Jesus Christ Closing Prayer Declaration “Lord, take me. Break me. Make me. Mold me according to Your will. Let Your Holy Spirit take control of me. Use me for Your glory.” 🙏 May this message inspire you to walk closer with Jesus, live wholeheartedly for Him, and reflect His love to the world. 👉 Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to stay connected with more uplifting sermons and worship content.
