A relaxed evening walking tour in Kuta, Bali, one of the most iconic destinations for Aussie travellers. We start our walk from Kuta Beach, just before nightfall, where the golden sand and gentle waves create that familiar Bali vibe everyone loves. From there, we stroll along Kuta Beach Road, passing by beachside shops, cafés, and surf rentals that line this famous strip. Next, we turn right into Poppies Lane 1, a narrow laneway filled with small shops, bars, and local eateries — a true slice of classic Kuta. The lane connects directly to Legian Main Road, where the nightlife slowly starts to come alive as the sun goes down. Continuing north, we reach the Ground Zero Monument, a meaningful landmark in the heart of Legian that commemorates those lost in the 2002 Bali tragedy. From there, we enter Poppies Lane 2, another well-known shortcut that leads us back towards the beach. Along this stretch, you’ll find a mix of lively bars, guesthouses, and souvenir shops that make Kuta’s charm so unique. Finally, we exit through the back entrance of Beachwalk Shopping Centre, ending our walk in front of Beachwalk Mall Kuta, a modern seaside mall with sunset views and plenty of dining options.
